Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage can be particularly beneficial after (and before) surgery. It is incredibly gentle and relaxing, it can also help with common symptoms or side effects of surgery

Regular but short, light touch massage
The massage itself is incredibly light touch so as not to “squash” the lymphatic vessels.
It is recommended that initial treatments are short in duration, approx. 45 minutes but several times a week. The aim is that over a number of sessions we can build up to longer duration treatments.

As a dual qualified practitioner, a practising NHS cancer nurse specialist and a qualified in oncology massage/ manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), you can be assured that you will be in the best of hands.
As you would expect, before any treatment I carry out a full assessment and consultation of your needs. From our discussion I put together an individualised treatment plan that, with your consent, can be shared with your clinical team and GP.

I offer a specialised MLD massage mobile service in Shoreham-by-Sea and surrounding areas including Worthing & Hove.
I simply bring everything I need with me, set up in moments and then carry out your treatments there and then.
For clients living outside of Shoreham I am very happy to travel to you (travelling time will be calculated and added to price).
